Mobile Key 3 from 2N provides mobile phone users with the capability to utilize their device as an access credential and key to their doors. The latest version introduces the innovative WaveKey technology, enhancing reliability, opening speed, and solution security.

WaveKey technology ensures that door opening feels instantaneous upon reader touch, while also preventing unauthorized door access by static phones and ensuring that phones moving away from the reader do not authenticate.

Bluetooth credential security is maintained through government-grade AES encryption across our proprietary channel. Additionally, users have the option to benefit from NFC door unlocking if their phone and 2N reader are compatible.

When paired with a suitable 2N® IP Intercoms or Access Units, Mobile Key delivers a convenient, secure, and dependable keyless access solution.

The operation modes include:

• ‘Touch mode’ - enables users to open doors without removing their phone from their pocket or bag, simply by touching the reader.
• ‘Tap mode’ - allows door opening from a greater distance by tapping the button in the app, ideal for car parks or garages.
• ‘Card mode’ - permits authentication by presenting the phone against the reader without unlocking the screen (disabled by default).
• ‘Motion mode’ - triggers authentication via motion detected in the intercom’s camera, requiring configuration by reader admin and an enhanced video license.

Setup Instructions:

1. Download and install the app.
2. Select your preferred Bluetooth or NFC settings within the app.
3. Choose the authentication mode on your Bluetooth-enabled 2N® IP Intercom or Access Unit.
4. Add a new user to the directory and generate a pairing PIN code.
5. If using NFC, ensure it is selected on your NFC-enabled 2N® IP Intercom or Access Unit (NFC license installation may be required).
6. Initiate pairing mode in the app and select the device for pairing (ensure proximity to the device; for ‘Touch’ mode, physical contact may be necessary for device visibility).
7. Enter the pairing PIN code when prompted.
8. Upon successful pairing, use the app to access all doors within the same site.
